For those of you who assumed that Crouch End’s finest had defected to the beard-squad for good, we can now allay your fears. As the delicious bounce of lead single ‘Shuffle’ suggested, A Different Kind of Fix sees them plug-in again to deliver a frighteningly accomplished and highly infectious master class in joyously youthful guitar-pop. In fact, it’s a serious contender for our ‘Album of 2011’ title.
