About Mystery Jets
Hailing from Eel Pie Island--a tiny island in the Thames--in London, the Mystery Jets were formed in 2000 by father-and-son duo Henry and Blaine Harrison. Apart from the unusual family relationship, the band also stood out for their eclectic blend of modern indie rock and folk, with a pronounced '60s psychedelia influence. MAKING DENS, their highly acclaimed debut album, was released in 2006 and confirmed their position as one of the leading lights of the new "Thamesbeat" scene, along with Larrikin Love and Jamie T.
